We had fun at the parade but it was cold. Effy loves spending time with her cindy sisters.

Mommy's arm got tired waving the whole parade. Effy started to wave to.

Kennedy and Infinity love each other.

It can be hard to be a Queen. She wanted Mommy and a nap.

I know I have said this a hundred times and probably will say it a thousand more but I love this program and everyone in it.

2010 Colorado State Cinderella Alumni Lunch

We went to the 2010 Colorado State Cinderella alumni lunch this weekend. It is a get together for all the current and past Co Cindy queens.

Hear are the Colorado State Baby Queens, Macy (Co Baby), Ava (International Tiny Tot), Kennedy (Co Tiny Tot), Infinity (Co Infant). They are all so pretty and sweet.

Infinity wanted to play in the pond so bad. Grandma went with us.

We had so much fun with our Cindy family Effy loves her Cindy sisters.

I started a new Job at Officemax I was working their when I got pregnant with Effy. I had to quit because I was put on bed rest. I relay loved my job and am so happy to be back.

Aren't they cute. I love my boys so much. Sebastian wants to go to the Air force academy then go in to the Air force and Aristotle wants to be a marshal arts master and a chef.

My Baby was in a parade today. She is the 2010 Colorado state Cinderella infant. A photographer was taking pics of Effy and asking me questions. My husband decided to Google her and found her pic on LIFE magazines web page. We could not be prouder. This was taken at the end of the parade she was tired and hot. It was also nap time.

Infinity Won the Colorado State Cinderella Scholarship Pageant

Infinity Won the Colorado State Cinderella Scholarship Pageant http://www.coloradocinderella.com/ In the Infant division. She is the 2010 Colorado State Cinderella Infant. She also won the cover baby title. I could not be prouder of her. This is a natural pageant (no makeup, hair pieces or fake Teeth) she was judged on her personality and natural beauty.

The whole experience was so much fun. Every one involved was grate. I meet some really grate people and I hope to see many of them again. I plan to have her compete in next years pageant and I hope she has fun during her reign this year. Unfortunately I could not make it to the internationals in Texas this July maybe next year.

This is a wonderful opportunity for Effy. She had so much fun doing this. I want to thank every one at Colorado Cinderella especially Mrs Mary. Thank you for helping me with all my questions and reassuring me all the way. You are the best.

Infinity's Fairy 1st Birthday party

Hear are the pick of Effys Birthday.

Hear are her cakes the tree was for the rest of us and the mushroom was just for her. My mother and I made them. I think they came out great.

Hear is some of the food I made.

Butterfly celery with cream cheese.

Fairy bread.

Ladybug Crackers.

Vegetable Trays with purple cauliflower, Radishes carved into mushrooms and Hard boiled eggs topped with Tomatoes. It is supposed to look like mushrooms.

I wanted a fruit basket but I could not believe the price so I maid one.

This was really a easy and fun project.

Hear is the basket of favors. I got the lollipop toys at valentines day and the rest I have been making and gathering all year.

We had the Party at a park. it was so windy that I could not put up most of the decoration I had. But it was still fun.

Hear are some of the kids in their Fairy/Pirate costumes. The older one is my youngest son Aristotle He broke his arm on the tramp on mothers day. They cant cast the humerus so he is in a brace and bandage. I cant get him not to use it.

We had to go home to open the gifts it got so cold and windy. Effy made out like a bandit. I had so much fun planing this party. I cant believe my baby is one. My older son wants to go to water world for his 13th party in August So easy but My younger son wants a big pirate party for his 10th in November. So that is my next project to put together. I plan to post some of the boys past party's her in the next few months also.

I went to Sears to get Effys 1 year photo taken the photos came out so cute.

I dressed Infinity in a lady bug outfit and put on some wings for her first outfit. She was just a natural little model for the hole session. I put the ribbon on the socks just for this outfit. I found the wings at the Doller store.

I made the tutu, hair bows, & socks. I also added bows to the top and made tule flowers for the slipers. This is what she will be in at her birthday party. I love my little fairy princess.

Take Tull

Curling ribbon

Flower Petals

1. Cut tull twice as long as you want the tutu

2. Unfold the tull

3. Fold in half long wise

4. Sew in a Tube

5. Lace curling ribbon threw

6. Sew under ribbon

7. Sew one end

8. Fill with petals

9. Sew last end and your done

Thes are verry simple Tutus to make. But it took me forever to make them all. I hope all the girls love them. I am making a special knot tutu for Effy.

Fairy Wand instructions

This is my second set of instructions for my little girls Tinkerbelle/fairy birthday.

List of supplies

• Wood dowels

• Curling ribbon

• Pom poms

• Pipe cleaners

• Purple metallic paint

• hot glue gun

• scissors

1. Paint a wood dowel with purple metallic paint.

2. Take a Pipe cleaner and bend it in half.

3. Bend it in half again.

4. Then bend it on last time.

5. Shape into a T.

6. Glue ribbon on hot glue bottom.

7. Continue to glue ribbons on.

8. Flip over.

9. Glue in pom pom.

10. Bend up prongs.

11. Make sure all prongs are even.

12. Glue on dowel.

13. You are finished.

I made one for all the girls I plan to invite plus a few extras just in case. Effy loves hers.

These are fun and easy to make.

fairy crown instructions

This is my first Attempt at posting instructions. I am going to be posting instructions on a couple of crafts for my little girls coming birthday party. I am doing a Tinkerbelle/fairy theme.

List of supplies

• Metal headbands
• Curling ribbon

• various silk flowers and leaves

• hot glue gun

• scissors

1. Wrap your head band with the curling ribbon secure ends with hot glue (I did not get pictures of this step sorry)

2. Cover the wrapped band with a layer of leaves.

3. Take a cluster of leaves I was lucky they wear already connected but you can glue them with hot glue.

4. Glue a flower in the center.

5. Glue bunched leaves and flower off to the side on the headband.

6. Start gluing flowers all up and down the sides.

All done. If you want you can add curling ribbon to the ends I plan to do this as soon as I get some pink. The store was out.

I made one for all the girls I plan to invite plus a few extras just in case. I am also making a special one just for Effy with more flowers. I will post pics as soon as it is finished.

Effys Holiday Tutu dress

I have been so busy with every thing I am behind on my blog. I made Effy a holiday Tutu dress for her first pics and party's. I also made the matching head band. I love the way it all came out. For her next tutu I will use wider pices of tule.

broken arm

I broke my arm. Well actually I broke my clavicle or collar bone. This means that I can not craft. I am going crazy. This sucks I cant take any thing because I am breast feeding witch is hard with a broken collar bone.

Felt food and a tutu

I started on my daughters felt food, so far I have made 4 strawberry's and a chocolate chip cookie. This is such a fun idea.

I also decided to make a no sew tutu. The ribbon is a Disney fairies print just like her room. I went to the Dollar tree and got a pair of $1.00 wings. I tried them on her and she looks so cute. it isn't like she will remember by Solstice. Her shoes are way to big for her little feet. Effy loves the Tutu she is giggling like crazy and chewing on it.

I have a lot more felt food to make. I will keep updating.

Homemade solstice gifts

Money is tight this year so I thought I would make some of my kids gifts. I relay like the Idea of felt food. I am going to make some fruits and veggies for my little girl. I am going to do some felt Harry Potter candy for my boys. I also might make them some owls for the owl post they use for the Hogwarts classes http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HogwartsSCS/.

I love schooling my kids at home http://www.k12.com/cova/. They appreciate the little things and aren't so obsessed about status. Their is no one telling them they need to have this or that. I believe that they retain some of their innocence.

I am starting a new project. My husband found a doll house on the side of the rode. I plan to fix it up

I have bean off line for a long time. I got pregnant Aug of 2008. I was unexpectedly put on bed rest for my hole pregnancy. I spent my entire pregnancy in and out of the hospital. After my beautiful baby girl (we call her Effy) was born at the end of May she has had health problems. Effy was put in the hospital at only 2 weeks old. She has had a couple of problems cents then. Right now we are going through around of tests for a new issue the doctor found. We are hoping it is nothing. The doctor says their is a good chance that it is nothing.

My husband lost his job. He has Bean looking for a new one but has had no luck. The job market is so bad right now.

I hate the fact that I flaked on 2 Swaps but I did not know I would be having a pregnancy much less so many issues.
